Give Me Another
SHOPIFY EXCHANGES

Offer an eligible exchange as another way forward.

Give Me Another helps Shopify merchants review customer return and exchange requests. Shoppers can ask for another size or colour of the same product where the item, variants and store rules permit it. The merchant decides what happens after the request arrives.

Pre-launch information. Public availability and final plan access are subject to Shopify review.

Start with the same product

A common exchange request is about fit or colour. For an eligible order line, the customer can select a different size or colour variant of the same product when that option is enabled and the requested variant is available in the product catalogue.

The customer is making a request, not changing the order themselves. Give Me Another records the selected variant and reason so the merchant can review the choice alongside the original item and order context before processing it.

Different products have a plan boundary

Requests for a different product are part of the Growth and Scale plan definitions in the current application source. The merchant must enable the option, and store rules and order eligibility still apply. Free and Starter do not include this entitlement in the current plan map.

A plan entitlement does not guarantee that every order can be exchanged for any catalogue item. The merchant's settings, eligible request, product options and Shopify's order state continue to determine the available path. The app does not promise that a preferred replacement will be available.

Keep the merchant review in view

The customer submits the item they want to exchange and any required reason. The request then appears for the merchant to assess. Your team can check the selected item, the original order line, the request window and the applicable plan before deciding whether to proceed.

The request queue supports review; it is not an automatic approval promise. Some eligible size or colour reasons may use configured conditional approval on Growth or Scale, but the store must enable that workflow and its conditions. Other requests remain subject to manual review.

Price and fulfilment are separate checks

An exchange request can involve different product variants, but submitting it does not reserve stock, change an order, collect an additional payment, issue a refund or create a shipment. Shopify's commerce state and any price difference must be checked in the merchant workflow before processing.

This separation helps merchants explain what a shopper should expect: first the request is submitted, then the store reviews it, then any permitted Shopify order, refund or fulfilment actions are handled. Do not describe the request screen as an instant exchange or a guaranteed replacement.

Request allowances and plan details

Current application source defines allowances of 5 requests per month on Free, 60 on Starter, 200 on Growth and 500 on Scale. Standard monthly prices are US$0, US$19, US$49 and US$119. A 14-day trial is defined for Starter only, and Shopify eligibility still applies.

The published marketing site is in pre-launch mode. These figures reflect the current app plan configuration and should be checked again against the live Shopify billing setup before public installation or purchase becomes available. The pricing page lists the same plans; contact the team for launch information.

Questions merchants ask

Can a shopper choose another size or colour?

They can request an eligible variant of the same product when the order, catalogue and store rules support that choice.

Which plans include a different-product request?

The current app plan map includes that option on Growth and Scale, subject to merchant configuration and request eligibility.

Is a submitted exchange approved or shipped automatically?

No. Merchant review, Shopify order processing, stock checks and fulfilment remain separate steps.
