Give Me Another
SHOPIFY RETURNS

Shopify returns with clear eligibility and merchant decisions.

Give Me Another is an exchange-first returns app in pre-launch development. It gives eligible shoppers a way to request a return or exchange from Shopify Customer Accounts, while the merchant keeps control of the review and the next step.

Pre-launch information. Public availability and final plan access are subject to Shopify review.

How a return request moves

A customer starts from an eligible order item in their Shopify account and chooses an available request option. The app checks the order, item, return window, plan allowance and store configuration before it presents the choices for that request.

The shopper submits a request with the item and reason. That submission records what they are asking for; it does not approve the return. Your team reviews the request in the merchant queue, checks the details and decides what to do next under the store's own policy.

Eligibility comes before the choice

Merchants configure the return window and whether return or exchange requests are allowed. The order and product also matter: an item outside the return window, an unsupported product, an order the customer cannot access, or a plan limit that has been reached can change which options are available.

For an eligible item, a shopper may request another size or colour of the same product where the variants and store rules permit it. Different-product requests are available on Growth and Scale in the current application plan definitions, with the merchant's setting and the order still determining eligibility.

Customer Accounts is the customer entry point

The customer-facing extension is designed for Shopify's new Customer Accounts. A shopper signs in through Shopify and starts from an order they are entitled to see. This keeps the request tied to the order context instead of asking customers to create a separate Give Me Another account.

Before launch, merchants should check which account experience their store uses and whether the Customer Accounts extension is enabled. Classic customer accounts do not provide this extension entry point in the current build.

A request is separate from processing

Give Me Another records and presents requests for merchant review. Submitting a request does not issue a refund, create a shipping label, reserve inventory, dispatch a replacement or guarantee that the request will be approved. Those actions remain subject to Shopify's order state and the merchant's processing decisions.

This boundary matters when writing a returns policy. Explain your own return window, item conditions, shipping arrangements and refund timing. The app supports the request and review workflow; it does not replace your policy or the merchant's fulfilment and refund checks.

Choose a plan around request volume

Current application source defines monthly allowances of 5 customer requests on Free, 60 on Starter, 200 on Growth and 500 on Scale. Its standard monthly prices are US$0, US$19, US$49 and US$119 respectively. A 14-day trial is defined for Starter only, and Shopify eligibility still applies.

These are the current plan definitions in the app source, not a live subscription quote. Give Me Another is preparing for launch, so public access and the final billing flow must be confirmed before a merchant installs or pays. Visit the pricing page for the current comparison or contact the team about availability.

Questions merchants ask

Does a return request automatically approve a refund?

No. The request is reviewed by the merchant. Shopify refund processing remains a separate step.

Can customers request an exchange instead?

Eligible customers can request a same-product size or colour exchange when the order, variants and store rules allow it. Different-product requests are defined for Growth and Scale.

Does the app create return labels or ship replacements?

No. Request submission does not create a shipping label, reserve stock or fulfil a replacement.
