Give Me Another
SHOPIFY CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS

A clearer Shopify Customer Accounts return request flow.

Give Me Another is developing a customer-facing way to start an eligible return or exchange from a Shopify order. The request stays connected to the shopper's account and order, then moves to the merchant team for review and a decision.

Pre-launch information. Public availability and final plan access are subject to Shopify review.

Start from a Shopify order

The customer-facing extension targets Shopify's new Customer Accounts. A shopper signs in with Shopify, opens an order and starts from an item that the account can access. This keeps the request connected to the store's existing customer and order context.

The extension is not a stand-alone login or a separate marketplace for returns. A customer must be able to access the order in Shopify Customer Accounts, and the store must have the relevant account extension enabled for the entry point to appear.

Check the order before showing choices

The app verifies that the signed-in customer can see the order and evaluates the available item, return window, request allowance and merchant settings. A customer does not get the same options for every order: eligibility depends on the item and the rules configured by the store.

Where an exchange is allowed, an eligible shopper may request a different size or colour of the same product. Growth and Scale include different-product requests in the current application plan definitions. Neither option changes the order just because the customer selects it.

Explain what happens after submission

A useful portal tells the customer that a request has been received and what the store will review. Give Me Another sends that request into the merchant workflow. The team reviews the item, reason and requested next step, then handles any subsequent Shopify action according to its policy.

A request is not an approval, refund, return label, stock reservation or replacement shipment. Those outcomes depend on the merchant's decision and separate Shopify processing. Keep these steps clear in your own policy and in customer support replies.

Confirm the store setup first

Before expecting the portal to appear, a merchant should confirm that the store uses Shopify's new Customer Accounts and that the extension has been enabled in the relevant customer account experience. Stores still using classic customer accounts do not have this extension entry point in the current build.

The merchant also configures the return window and exchange options. Product eligibility, order state, plan entitlements and the monthly request allowance affect what customers can submit. If the store has reached its allowance, new customer submissions pause until the next plan period.

Match the allowance to your workflow

Current app source sets Free at 5 customer requests per month, Starter at 60, Growth at 200 and Scale at 500. Standard monthly prices are US$0, US$19, US$49 and US$119. The app configuration defines a 14-day trial for Starter only; Shopify billing eligibility still applies.

Give Me Another is preparing for launch. The website's plan information reflects current source definitions, while public availability and each store's billing terms must be confirmed in Shopify. Use the pricing page to compare tiers or the contact page to ask about launch status.
